"It may seem a pathetic stereotype, but the analogy holds, that sharing can help. It isn't like sharing a load. It is sharing a load. And the help consists of the lighter load and of the reasons which underlie why another will take on part of a burden. Because that person understands. Because that person cares. About you. Specifically, about you.
And there is the possibility that the load may lighten until its nature changes. It won't be forgotten, but it will no longer rule your course. At some point you may be able to do with it what you will; take it along, drop it, transform it into any number of tools and adornments. There are many possibilities."
